Technical problem
A major car manufacturer wanted a new concept cap that would fit all flanges from all suppliers. Together with our client’s Research & Development team, we have developed a series of caps using build-to-print and prototypes. This resulted in a fully accepted MSF male shipping cap series that can be used on different flanges. Our client is now using these caps and more and more TIER1 suppliers are switching to this cap. The shipping cap with its related engineering specification has been introduced at the client’s as a prime example for the factories.
